FAQ

When should I order my wedding invitations?

Six to nine months before your wedding date. This will give guest who need to travel time to make arrangements. If you don’t have all the details of your wedding at this stage you can issue save the date cards. This will allow your guest to make travel arrangements while you finish planning your wedding.

How formal do my wedding invitations need to be?

The style of wedding invitations you choose should create the mood for your wedding. Is your wedding traditional, formal, classic, beach, garden or your own blend of styles? Choose wedding invitations and stationery that reflects this mood.

I like a design on your website but the colours do not suit my theme. Can I change them?

Yes, in most instances we are able to make substitute papers and ribbons etc. in our designs. Just email us with details of the changes you would like and we will be able to advise you of your options. Depending on the changes you make, there may be a slight variation in price.

Can I get Save the Date/Direction/Accommodation/Order of Service in the same theme?

Yes, we have all the above and more additional matching accessories available upon request. Just let us know what you are after and we can create it for you.

Can you print my guests names on my invitations, place cards and envelopes?

Yes. There is an additional charge for guest names to be printed on invitations, and an additional charge for guest names on place cards and envelopes.  You should supply us with a word file or excel file with all names typed exactly as you would like them to be spelt and written. e.g. Mr & Mrs Smith, Leanne and Leslie Smith, Leanne & Leslie. And for place cards one name per line or cell, e.g. Leanne, Leslie, etc. etc. If you aren’t sure call us first!

Does the bride or groom’s name go first on our invitations?

Generally the brides name goes first on anything pre-marriage. After marriage, when you are announced as Mr and Mrs, it’s the grooms name first.

How do I indicate on my invitations that the wedding and reception is for adult guests only?

You should generally not print “Adults Only” or “No Children” on an invitation. The way your invitations are addressed indicates who is and who is not (by omission) invited to attend the wedding.  If you feel some guests will not get the “hint” however, you may wish to print a line on your invitations stating “We respectfully ask that no children attend the reception”.

How soon after the wedding should thank you cards/notes be sent?

You should aim to send out your thank you cards and notes within 2 months after the wedding day to thank guests for their attendance, well wishes, and gifts, etc.

What are my payment options?
